The company, which began with a product line of three chests, now manufactures a complete line of wood and upholstered furniture and has attained a national reputation.

The Furniture Library is one of North Carolina's and the country's least-known libraries. Housed in a stony house in High Point, the library contains the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of books pertaining to history. Few people outside of the furniture industry know of it. Over 600 of the library's 5,400 volumes were printed before 1800.
