Kennedy's visit to East Carolina College on the presidential campaign trail. The interview begins with playback of the introduction of Kennedy and his address. Janice Faulkner recounts the plans and preparations needed for Kennedy's visit and her role in the events, the Kennedy campaign's motivations for visiting eastern NC, and the impacts of the visit on the region. Lou McNamee speaks about her memories of Kennedy's visit, her father's involvement in planning and assisting with the event, and whether ECC's presence influenced the Kennedy campaign's decision to come to Greenville. Scott Wells recalls attending Kennedy's address along with her school, her father's role in media coverage of the event, details of the stadium and Kennedy's motorcade, and the impact Kennedy's visit caused in her school.
