He wishes that his father could be there on the 15th when John Henry is going to sell horses, cows, and hogs at auction.George spoke to John Henry about a piece of land that he has had offers on, but he is waiting to hear from his father before he sells it. From the papers of Thomas Sparrow (1819-1884), a lawyer from Washington, N.C. who fought in the Civil War and later represented Beaufort County in the North Carolina General Assembly.
