His newlywed aunt and uncle are staying at his Grandma’s house until their house is ready. He wishes that his father could be there on the 15th when John Henry is going to sell horses, cows, and hogs at auction.George spoke to John Henry about a piece of land that he has had offers on, but he is waiting to hear from his father before he sells it. From the papers of Thomas Sparrow (1819-1884), a lawyer from Washington, N.C. who fought in the Civil War and later represented Beaufort County in the North Carolina General Assembly.
