Letter from George Attmore Sparrow in Okaw, Illinois to his father Thomas Sparrow. George tells his father that they are all well except for one person who has a bad cold. George says that it is raining and muddy there. He also says that he made a little bedstead for Caddie to sleep on and attended to all of the chores his father left for him to do.
