Description: Rectangular wood case with lid hinged at back, two brass brackets on front of lid and two corresponding brass hooks for closure, interior of case fitted with 24 open compartments for bottles and instruments. Inside case: 8 glass bottles (5 with labels), one open glass vial, and a small, flat, oval, red tin box decorated with a painted gold eagle. Inside tin box: 7 small, flat, rectangular weights marked in drams and scruples.
