MINUTES OF THE STAFF MEETING
Psychology Department
April 10, 1972
The Psychology Department held its April meeting at 4 o'clock in EP 104 on April
i0, i972,
PRESENT: Castellow, Roberts, Long, Tacker, Corwin, Lao, Mitchell, Daugherty,
Stapleton, Martoccia, and Means.
Dr. Prewett was unable to be present due to illness and Dr. Mitchell presided.
Dr. Boice Daugherty was elected to the Faculty Senate to represent the Department.
Dr. Roberts asked what progress was being made on the Graduate Handbook. Dr. Long
reported that it was felt that it would be ready for distribution by the end of
the week. A short discussion was held pertaining to the number that should be
printed and also the distribution of it. The consensus was that a copy of it
should be given to each graduate student now enrolled and also those admitted and
who have expressed their intention to enroll in the program during the coming year.
Also, it was felt it would be a good idea to have copies available for Departmental
Chairmen at the meeting of the North Carolina Psychological Association which will
be held on campus April 21-22, 1972.
Dr. Daugherty spoke briefly about what the Local Arrangements Committee for the
meeting of the North Carolina Psychological Association had done.
The meeting adjourend at 4:30.
