Dr. Grossnickle made the following announcements:
Dr. Zincone is offering Economics 395 as an honors seminar waiving all
prerequisites in order to determine if there is enough interest and asked
that this information be passed on to students.
Dr. Stella Daugherty of the Math Department asked that advisees be
told that if they are closed out of Math 322 they may want to take
Math 329 and they would be permitted to do so.
Any student with a double major may count his courses taken for his

Dr. Means announced that a research colloq uium would be held at 3 o'clock,
Wednesday, January 26, 1972 in EP 102. Dr. Charles Moore will speak on research

passed around to those attending the colloquium.
Dr. Martoccia reported for the Library Committee stating that in addition to the
book list he was now receiving yellow slips showing the date of the arrival of books
that had been ordered and anyone wishing to see these may come by his office.
Dr. Long reported for the committee that was appointed to revise the graduate hand-
book. The revised copy (each faculty had a copy of it) was gone over page by page
and the suggested changes discussed and implemented when agreed upon by the staff.
Ten pages were covered and due to the lateness of the hour it was suggested that a
time be set for another meeting to finish studying the handbook. This was agreed
upon.
The next meeting of the staff, for the purpose of completing the graduate handbook
only, was set for Monday, January 17, 1972 at 4 p.m. in EP 104.
The meeting adjourned at 5:20.
