MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER STAFF MEETING
Psychology Department
september 9, 1965
The Psychology Department held its September meeting in EP 104 at 10 o'clock,
september 9, 1968.
PRESENT: Prewett, Stapleton, Harris, Rogers, Latham, Steinberg, Khatena,
Martoccia, Kinzie, Higgins, Dixon, Moore, Tacker, Williams, Mitchell,
Grossnickle, Daugherty, Hedges, and Long.
The new faculty members were introduced and welcomed: Mrs. Harris, Dr. Tacker,
Mr. Latham, Dr. Daugherty, Dr. Moore, and Dr. Khatena.
Dr. Grossnickle was elected to represent the Department on the President's
Advisory Council.
Dr. Prewett was elected the Departmental representative on the Graduate Council.
It was announced that monthly staff meetings would be held on the second Monday
of each month at 4:15 p.m.
Dre Mitchell and Dr. Grossnickle were recognized to say a few words abovt Psi Chi.
They asked for the cooperation of the staff members in attending meetings and
helping secure good speakers.
Dr. Prewett announced that there is a licensing law for psychologists in the State
of North Carolina and anyone interested in applying should contact him.
