Description: Letter from renowned songwriter Billy Edd Wheeler to Scott [Parker]. Parker was the director of the Institute of Outdoor Drama at the time. The subject of Wheeler's correspondence is a new piece of musical theater being written for the Derby Dinner Playhouse. Wheeler provides a synopsis of the drama which revolves around the friendship of five retired men under the working title "What a Way to Go." The drama and lyrics were written by Wheeler with the music by the composer Ewel Cornett and accomplished Nashville session musician Dennis Burnside. Wheeler asks for Parker's help choosing a title for the drama and references a review Parker completed for him.
