Four songs from The Poker Club

Title
Four songs from The Poker Club
Description
Audio recording on cassette for four songs from The Poker Club by renowned songwriter Billy Edd Wheeler. This tape was sent to Institute of Outdoor Drama director Scott Parker. In previous corresondence with Parker, Wheeler references the completion of these four songs for part of a musical theater commission Wheeler was working on. The title of the piece used in Wheeler's correspondence conflicts with the title presented on the cassette. In the correspondence, the four songs are part of a piece under the working title "What a Way to Go." Wheeler also notes in the correspondence that composer Ewel Cornett and accomplished Nashville session musician Dennis Burnside composed the music for the four songs. Date approximated.
