Description: A handwritten copy of a land deed between William Harris and George Harris dated 22 February 1762. George Harris paid 100 pounds for a tract of land on the north side of the Tar River in Pitt County, North Carolina. The copy was certified 2 May 1838 by William Clark, registrar, Greenville, Pitt County, N.C.
