Description: An unsigned letter from Katie Murray in Chengchow [Zhengzhou], China, to "dear homefolks." Murray writes of the news from a recent meeting of the Chengchow Association, a bible class that she has begun taking, and Mr. Wang, a Muslim leader who converted from Buddhism. A native of North Carolina, Murray served as a Baptist missionary in China between 1927 and 1950, occasionally fleeing during times of war. She served her last years of missionary service in Taiwan between 1954 and 1959.
