Description: Leopold Schrauer manufactured microscopes in New York for about 20 years. He did not make lenses, and this microscope has a divisible Hartnack objective and a rare solid glass Bausch and Lomb ocular, which was invented by Robert Tolles. The microscope has a Zentmayer type gliding glass stage. Schrauer did not sell through dealers.
