Title: Pungent paragraphs from the new Louisburg College
Identifier: 0303-b1-fe (https://digital.lib.ecu.edu/13845)
Description: This promotional brochure describes changes that were taking place at Louisburg College in Louisburg, N.C., in the early 1930s. The college, which had opened in 1857 to educate young women, suffered a fire in 1928 that seriously damaged the main building. The Great Depression curtailed enrollment, causing the college to incur significant debt. To recover from these setbacks, the college admitted men for the first time in 1931.
