This "chiefe Towne of the Country," being a full six days journey away, likely does not appear on any of the available maps, and further, the text is too vague to pinpoint exactly what town is being referenced. Quinn notes that it is additionally difficult to discern just how far Wingina's dominion extended, and whether this referenced one of Wingina's towns or that of one of his allies on the mainland.
