An outcome of the 2020 Pandemic has meant more people living year-long in the nearby Lake Gaston recreational area. The Fitts's have aided Littleton in growing the downtown area and capitalizing on the increased traffic connnected to Lake Gaston. One of their premiere projects involves the renovation of the old Littleton High School campus.

AETNA, a Rhode-Island based health and life insurance company, plans to to take the edge in 2025 against Blue Cross Blue Shield with a three-year contract. The contract was awarded by The Health Plan's governing board, who plans to offer over 740,000 Raleigh-Durham residents a new option for health insurance.
