Abstract:

N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission explains that "the relationship between regulation development and hunting comes full circle as hunter harvests provide vital data" for deer statewide. This interconnection allows the Commission to gather harvest data collection, biological data collection, and random sample survey data collection, all of which enable proper management and treatment of North Carolina's deer population.

Abstract:

As a matter of fact, Chronic Wasting Disease us always fatal but it usually takes between and and two years before infected deer display signs of infection. North Carolina's first detection of CWD was in 2022. Since that time, designation of primary and secondary surveillance ares has begun.
