As a four-time Chancellor’s List honoree and Commissioners Academic Medal awardee, Milner has also been selected for the Conference USA All-Academic Team, been the first Capital One Academic all-American selection in ECU football history, and chosen as ECU’s Outstanding Male Scholar athlete.

After a series of storms caused erosion on his family’s farm in Ocala, Florida, White discovered pottery and coins that point to occupation by conquistador Hernando de Soto.

While most North Carolinians may be hoping for no accumulation in the forecast, the state's ski industry is hoping for a colder, snowier winter. Under normal snow conditions, the ski industry is a $55.8 million business that could have as much a $100 million impact in the right conditions.

In the last twenty years, the number of public school teachers has increased by 36% while the number of students has declined to about 1.1 million, from 1.2 million. The number of school administrators however, has doubled. If the trend continues, there will be more administrators than school teachers. State educators are now looking to examine the impact of this trend, especially in the face of state budget crunches.
