& Dr. Grossnickle asked that the Department reconsider a change that was made
at the last meeting, iee., changing Psychology 205 to Psychology 305, It
was felt that this was needed to give more flexibility in scheduling. A
motion was made to this effect and after a lengthy discussion the motion was
defeated.

Dr, Martoccia moved that Psychology 206 be added to the prerequisites for
Psychology 305. Motion unanimously passed.

Dr. Martoccia made the following report for the Comprehensive Committee:

A candidate for the Master's Degree in clinical psychology failed the
comprehensive examination in 2 areas--research and theories and systems--~
and the Committee recommended that he be given a retest in these two
areas. On the restest the candidate failed the area of research and

the Committee recommended that he be given another re-test on this area.
This test was given October 26, 1967 and the Committee felt that the
student had not done adequate work for the degree to be granted. The
student was subsequently notified of this and told that he was entitled
to one more restest, Upon receipt of the letter the student wrote a
letter to Dr, Prewett petitioning the Department that his record be
re~studied as he felt his overall average was sufficiently high for

him to be granted the degree, After a lengthy discussion the motion
was made and unanimously passed that the candidate be required to take

a reetest in the area of researche

Dre Rogers moved that the entire comprehensive requirements be re-studied
and made a part of the requirements for a Master's Degree. Motion unanimously
