MINUTES OF THE STAFF MEETING OF THE PSYCHOLOGY DEPARTMENT

October 7, 1963

All staff members were present for this meeting which was devoted almost
entirely to a presentation of the report of the Schedule Comittee for
the winter quarter,

Very brief reports were presented by Dr. Mandel, Chairman of the Brochure
Committee, and by Mr. Graham, Chairman of the Curriculum Committee.

Dr. Griffith, spokesman for the Schedule Committee of Marshall, Gillis
and Allen, presented the schedule for the winter quarter. After a long,
agonising, and tumiltuous Session the weyers was adopted subject to
eexrtain minor revisions.

This was a splendid in-service education meeting for the staff menbers

in that, for perhaps the first time, it became clearly obvious to all
class loads cannot be centered around the 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock hours
and that considerable utilization of the building in the afternoons and
nights will be necessary for the program to continue,

Dr. Prewett presented the latest information in regard to the new
building and thanked the various committees for their dedicated work
during the past month,
