Dear Gary:
We are delighted that you will be able to join us aboard My
Old Kentucky Dinner Train on Friday, October 25, 1991. As I
mentioned on the phone today, the honorarium is $100 and does
not include dinner aboard the train.
The train departs Bardstown at 8:15pm and dinner service is
begun right away. On the return leg of the trip, once
dessert is served, there is a period of about 45 minutes
which would be suitable for musical entertainment, starting
about 9:30pm. We arrive back in Bardstown at 10:15pm.
What we have in mind is a program of familiar Stephen Foster
melodies, especially those featured in The Stephen Foster
Story, as you stroll up and down the aisle. Costume would be
wonderful! Ive been assured that you will be able to move
from one car to the other by going through the kitchen car.
Prior to departure, from 7:45 to 8:15pm, drinks will be
served in the train station bar and Scott thought it might be
fun if you could do some banjo pickin? there, to get people
in the mood.
Once again, we are pleased that you can join us, Gary.
As soon as the conference brochures are available in late
August, I°1l see that you receive one. In the meantime, let
me know if you have questions.
Sincerely,
Judy Via
