Lumberton, N.C.
Dear Mrs. Person:
I have a little girl 9 years of age, who has had white swelling for 6 years, has been in the Hospital in Charleston S.C. & in Richmond Va. In all we have had 4 operations performed on her. We thought she was well, till about two months ago. The trouble returned, her leg inflamed & bursted in four different places. We called the doctor
in he treated her for about two weeks, she growing steadily worse all the time, having high fever all the time, had one hemorrhage, wounds would discharge about a pint per day, was in bed all the time could not walk a step. Pieces of bone would work out, as before, the doctor said the leg would have to be amputated. I would not consent. My wife had been taking your medicine & prevailed on me to try it on the little girl. Up to the present time she has taken 9 bottles. She is now out of her bed.
In about two weeks after we commenced using your medicine, she got up out of her bed and could walk with crutches. About a week ago she discarded her crutches. At this writing her leg is not swelled at all, discharges have almost ceased. She has gained about 35 lbs. in weight. Just as hearty as she can be. If there is any information you can give me on this case, or any suggesti-
ons you may offer us will be appreciated.
Yours very respectfully,
E.F. Kelly
