Photographs of ships from the Milton P. Fields papers. Fields, a U.S. navy photographer, was stationed aboard the USS Saratoga during World War II. Photographed ships include the USS Saratoga (photo number 196, 207), USS Hammondsport (photo number 197), HMS Victorious (photo numbers 199-204, 206-209), USS Cimarron (photo numbers 200-204), USS Enterprise (photo number 205), USS Sterett (photo number 210), USS Jenkins (photo number 211), USS McNair (photo number 212), USS North Carolina (photo number 214), USS San Diego (photo number 215), USS Patuxent (photo numbers 216-217), USS Alaska (photo number 219), and an Akizuki-class Japanese destroyer (photo number 218).
