A palm tree, a moss-covered tree, and a wading bird are also in the picture. One corner of the card is sectioned off and shows two frogs presenting Ayer's Ague Cure to an alligator. The heading for the card is: Ayer's Ague Cure is Warranted to Cure All Malarial Disorders." Prepared by Dr. J.C. Ayer & Co., Lowell, Mass. The reverse of the card states that Ayer's Ague Cure is a purely vegetable bitter and powerful tonic, and is, ... cure for all malarial disorders. It neutralizes and expels malarial poison, contains no quinine or any mineral ingredients, and is safe and harmless. It is also an excellent remedy for liver complaints.
