Description: Black and white photographic negatives of U.S. Navy Net Tender Gum Tree, Hull #460, under construction at Marietta Manufacturing Company, Point Pleasant, W. Va. The Gum Tree is moored at a dock and construction is continuing on the superstructure. The first image is taken from off the rear quarter of the ship, facing the bow, the second is taken from off the front quarter facing the stern.
