Description: Photograph of soldiers lined up with equipment laid out at their feet. A line of tents stands behind the soldiers. Note on verso reads: "On the ground before them is spread their blanket roll which contains, 1 poncho, 1 shelter... (dog tent), 1 blanket, 1 tooth brush & paste, soap, 1 towel, 2 sets underwear, 2 pairs socks & comb. You see it here flat, it is rolled up thus [sketch] and slung over their shoulder."
