Description: This photograph album, circa 1911, belonged to East Carolina Teachers Training School alumna Helen Virginia Wootton. It contains photographs of her friends and events at ECTTS, her family, and various places in North Carolina including Wendell, Grimesland, and Zebulon. Helen Virginia Wootton was born in 1892 and died in 1977, having been a life long teacher living in Wendell, North Carolina. She attended East Carolina Teachers Training School from 1909-1910. Her sister Rosa Mae Wootton graduated from ECTTS in 1914.
