Liam Currin-Rogers
Title: Liam Currin-Rogers
Identifier: UA22.10.01.03   (https://digital.lib.ecu.edu/60037)
Description: Color photo portrait. From author: Since opening up about my queer identity 11 years ago, I have been dedicated to being a positive figure in the LGBTQIA community. Beginning in 2008, I performed as a drag king for eight years and I enjoyed sharing our culture with others by participating in shows held in an array of diverse venues across North Carolina. Currently, I am working towards a BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. I have already started using my skill sets to advocate for the LGBTQIA community and it is my hope to continue to do so. In 2017 I began living openly as a trans man. I believe that through sharing my story with others, whether it be through a creative outlet or in a simple conversation, I will create a positive impact for the LGBTQIA community. Currin-Rogers is a senior, majoring in Graphic Design. Pronouns: he/him/his.
