Description: Mixed media by Sterling Blythe Lieske for Spring 2014 in ART4564. Undergarment: dyed nylon. Skirt: woven belt, my grandmother’s blue fringe, screen-printed cotton-lavender nap pattern. Shirt: dyed cotton, found ribbon, embroidery shoulder piece: wood gathered by my lover, screen-printed cotton-lavender nap pattern, found string, glass beads. He carried them home to me from Varanasi, painted Habotai silk with colored pencil.
