Description: Ceramic: sculptural by Katie P. Pritchard for Summer 2012 in ART3120. Acrylic paint on ceramics, cardboard. This ceramic replica of my childhood van is what we would use to travel in and hook up the boat on the trailer behind it.  This was my most difficult piece. The wheels were thrown on the ceramic wheel, where I add texture and trimmed them when it was leather hard. I created the van out of clay slabs and then painted the same colors of my van with acrylic paint.
