Description: Graphic design by Savannah Rachael Beckler for Fall 2010 in ART3200. John Henry is a beer for the working class man. I chose the iconic figure of John Henry for his work ethic, and determination--two things the hardworking man can relate too. I kept his figure as more of a silhouette to make it more relatable and "any man". The typeface is strong and squared, seeming to relate to the image of John Henry himself. The colors are all golden--emulating the colors that we associate with beer. John Henry is a beer for the everyday working man, a dark lager with a rich taste is sure to satisfy.
