Defying perceptions
Title: Defying perceptions
Identifier: SOAD2443   (https://digital.lib.ecu.edu/53165)
Description: Print: photographic by Russell Dale Clark for Fall 2011 in ART4250. Digital Photography. Skateboarder’s perceptions of public space are often misinterpreted. Defying perceptions bridges the gap between conflicting opinions by presenting a photographic representation of what skateboarding is to us.   With infinite possibilities at hand, skateboarders creatively chose a “line” through each urban environment that satisfies their needs for progression. With each light recorded, unique views of public spaces emerge. With all perceptions aside, this is skateboarding.  This is how we see it.
