Description: Sculpture: figurative by Jessica Marie Bradsher for Spring 2010 in ART3500. Soapstone. This piece was completed while I studied the history of the figure in sculptural works. It is my representation of a female figure in pain. Her heart has been removed as if it has been ripped out of her body. It addresses the pain and damage the heart can cause.
