The film describes the settling and development of the Champoeg, Oregon area, details the history of the Champoeg Historical pageant and its production, and discusses the project to build a permanent amphitheater for the staging of the outdoor drama and other entertainment. Scenes from Oregon state history are depicted in the film as well as the Champoeg State Park. The two commercials are 20 seconds and 10 seconds in length respectively.
