Description: Rev. Clarence E. Norman was a graduate of Concord High School and the University of North Carolina. He taught school in Concord and then entered the seminary from which he graduated in 1917. Rev. Norman served as an American missionary for the United Lutheran Church of America who worked in the prefecture of Kumamoto, Japan from 1917 to 1931.
