Description: Black and white photograph of the change of command ceremony for ComLanShipRon (Command Landing Ship Squadron) 5 as Commander Morgan takes command from Captain Roland G. Bienvenu. The ceremony took place aboard USS Tom Green County (LST-1159), while stationed in San Diego, California. Bienvenu is pictured with a cane, due to an injured leg. Bienvenu graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1941 and served in various posts until his retirement in 1965.
