Title: Martin Street, south of Mumford, after Hurricane Floyd

Description: A month after Hurricane Floyd swept through the area, recovery efforts continued. This image, taken on October 24, 1999, of a home on Martin Street clearly shows the height of the floodwaters that inundated the structure. Also visible are the markings on the door made by National Guardsmen, who inspected the homes for survivors just after the hurricane.
