Description: In 1923, M.O. Minges opened the Orange Crush Bottling Company on Ninth Street. At the time, there were five other soft drink companies in business in Greenville. Some of the products produced and distributed in town included Orange Crush, Nu Grape, Pilot-Pale Ginger Ale,Silver Nip, Spirit of 76, Cherry Blossoms, and some beer interests, including Pabst and Krueger Beer. In 1935, Minges changed brands, buying a franchise for Pepsi-Cola. Date approximated.
