Letter writer is in France near the front, and discusses being constantly on the move. He also talks about the food, and seeing vineyards while travelling through the countryside. Letter is written on "YMCA, Le Foyer du Soldat, Union Franco-Americaine" stationery. A circular stamp with "Capt. William R. Maris" is on the last page.
