Description: After 1870, Zentmayer introduced models of his larger microscopes with Wenham binocular tubes. The nosepiece fine adjustment was used until 1876, when a lever mechanism was introduced and all of his models were updated with new stages and his patented swinging substage. The glass stage on this instrument is modern.
