Description: These objectives with a nonstandard thread are examples of relatively early American manufacture. One has a collar to adjust for coverglass thickness, which was invented by the English optician, Andrew Ross. The rotating nosepiece is an early design. The cement in the lenses has clouded. They were manufactured in the 19th Century.
