Description: This model has an electrical episcopic illuminator and includes three special epi objectives for uncovered specimens. It is built on a standard microscope stand. The power supply is a later replacement. In the 1960's metallurgical microscopes became much more elaborate and specialized models were introduced. Specialized microscopes were also designed for semiconductor and electronic chip manufacture. The serial number is KD9378.
