The reverse of the card describes the condition as well as the diagnosis and treatment. Zoster is described as an infectious disease of the nervous system. Symptoms often include fever and neuralgic pains along the diseased nerve. A rash also accompanies the area surrounding the affected nerve. Zoster may also be known as Zona, Herpes Zoster, Ignis Sacer, or Shingles.
