Identifier: LL02.49.00.128 (https://digital.lib.ecu.edu/21234)
Description: Dermatologic stereoview card. Front of card depicts male patient with Veruca Vulgaris primarily on the chin and surrounding mouth area. The reverse of the card describes the condition as well as diagnosis and treatment. Verruca Vulgaris are described as firm or horny, pin head or pea sized growths on the skin. Though generally benign, warty lesions in patients past middle age are noted as often starting points of epitheliomas. The card indicates that it is generally agreed upon that warts are mildly contagious. Verruca Vulgaris may also be known as a Wart.
