Description: Dermatologic stereoview card. Front of card depicts patient from behind. Varicella lesions are speckled throughout the the patients upper torso. The reverse of the card discusses the condition as well as diagnosis and treatment. Varicella is described as a benign, acute, contagious disease afflicting mainly children. The card notes that the rash is rarely abundant or generalized and is often accompanied by itching. No treatment is required outside of medical management to relieve itching. Varicella may also be know as Chicken-Pox.
