Description: Dermatologic stereoview card. Front of card depicts female patient pictured from behind. Evidence of Urticaria marks are scattered across her upper back. The reverse of the card discusses the condition as well as treatment. Urticaria is noted as a particular form of lesion known as a wheal. They appear suddenly, disappearing more gradually and are often itchy, tingly, and burning. It is noted that children are particularly liable to this disease. External causes such as bites or stings, and some elements of diet are responsible for outbreaks.
