Description: Dermatologic stereoview card. Front of card depicts a person's legs with Syphilis Tertiaria. The reverse of the card describes the dermatologic conditions as well as the diagnosis and treatment. Gummata of the skin appear most commonly three or four years after the chancre. They may occur precociously as early as the sixth month, and then probably as early as the sixth month, and then probably indicate a grave form of the disease. They are found on any region. Favorite locations are the fore head, flexor surfaces of the arms, the legs, over the sternum and clavicle and about the genitalia. This form of Syphilis Tertiaria may also be known as Syphilis gummosa, Syphiloderma gummatosum, Gumma, Syphiloma.
