She is sitting in a swing surrounded by flowers, a stream and trees. The wording at the top is: August Flower for Dyspepsia and Liver Complaints. On the bottom lower left are the words: Annex: Green's Almanac. On the reverse of the card is a calender across the top with the date, 1883. The reverse of the card states that "Boschee's German Syrup has the largest sale of any medicine in the world, for the cure of Consumption, Bronchitis, Severe Colds, ... Pneumonia and all diseases of the Throat and Lungs ... Introduced in the U.S.A. in 1867, by distributing over 3,000,000 Sample Bottles free of charge." Samples, 10 cents and regular size 75 cents. "A large proportion of the American people are to-day dying from the effects of Dyspepsia." Try Green's August Flower. "Speedy relief is certain.
