Description: Advertisement for Ayer's Cherry Pectoral depicting a scene titled "Penn's Treaty" from 1682 or 1683. A gentleman (William Penn) is holding a bottle in his right hand. A document titled "Ayer's Cherry Pectoral" is being presented to the Indians. Another document states: "Cures colds, coughs &c". There are seven Indians and seven Colonists in the picture. On the reverse of the card states that Ayer's Cherry Pectoral cures colds, coughs, sore throat, influenza, quinsy, laryngitis, hoarseness, bronchitis, croup, asthma, and catarrh and relieves whooping cough and consumption. Prepared by Dr. J.C. Ayer & Co., Lowell, Mass.
