Description: Advertisement for Hop Ointment, "The National Remedy for the Skin", depicting a pretty little girl dressed in a blue and white bonnet, a red coat with a lace collar, and blue gloves. She is holding a doll in her right arm while resting her left arm on a green chair. In her left hand is a round box. In very small print at the top of the card states that the child is from New London, Ct. and while playing, she fell and cut herself. Hop Ointment cured her in 2 days. The price is 25 cents, 50 cents, and $1.00. The reverse of the card states that Hop Ointment is for all forms of chapped, rough, red, pimply skin and removes tan and sunburn. From beautiful women and leading actresses to children and babies all use it. At the top of the card are the words: when reading, use this card as a book-mark. Hop Pill Manufacturing Co.
